Social media presence

Instagram is my primary method of expression, and where I consume most of my content. I don't care for the other platforms, and I don't have time to monitor them. I don't always have time to dive into the comment sections of my posts, but I enjoy the engagement tremendously. I also try to interact with everyone who sends me a message - unless it's a video. Please stop sending me videos. It's not the same as forwarding your buddy a video you think they'll enjoy. I don't have time to scroll through hundreds of messages a day watching videos you think I might want to see. I've seen them already. 

My TikTok account is radar_snacks because I got locked out of deputy_dog_radar pretty early on. I originally started that account to reach a different type of social media consumer, but it became a place to post videos without music so fans could hear Radar's tail smacking the kennel. That doesn't happen anymore, and I often don't post to TikTok because I just don't think about it. I never look at the comments on my TikTok posts and I don't read my messages.

I don't have a Radar Facebook account. One of these days I'll figure out how to link my Instagarm account to a Facebook account that isn't my personal Facebook account, but that day isn't today. 

I occasionally do fundraisers, but I will never ask you for money directly. I won't ask you to buy Apple cards. I won't ask you to buy Green Dot cards. I won't ask you to message me on WhatsApp, or Zangi, or any other private messaging service. Stop being gullible. 

Instagram: I have two Instagram accounts, but only one for Radar - deputy_dog_radar. My other account is for my running content - @fake_ass_runners. I'm sure you're all wonderful people, but I'm not sending you friend requests. Every single day I get messages from people asking if I sent them a friend request, or telling me my account has been hacked, or letting me know there's another fake account. If the account is anything other than deputy_dog_radar or fake_ass_runners ITS NOT ME. I'm not deputy_dog_radar01, or deputy_dog_radar385, or depu.ty_dog_rada.r35, or ANY ACCOUNT OTHER THAN deputy_dog_radar or fake_ass_runners. It doesn't help to put a message in my bio - I've tried. It doesn't help to make a video - I've tried. It doesn't help to block the accounts because they just immediately open a new account and add a letter or a number. 

TikTok: My only TikTok account is radar_snacks. There are also dozens of fake accounts on TikTok. 

Facebook: I don't have a Radar Facebook account. If you're seeing my videos on Facebook, and you're not friends with me on Facebook, it's a fake account. The difference between Instagram and Facebook is Instagram will block the fake accounts when I report them, but Facebook will not. If only they had teh same parent company so they could coordinate scam investigations.  The irony is the thousands of people who follow fake Radar Facebook accounts aren't going to see this webpage.
